The Center for Public Humanities is rooted in Messiah University's collective devotion to the humanities. The Center connects the university's faculty and students to the broader community through meaningful inquiry, conversation, and action. The Center's mission is to bring academic, civic, and cultural communities together in a collaborative advancement of culture and learning, and to contribute to the university's intellectual and cultural climate by stimulating debate and exchange on contemporary issues of significance, both on and off campus.
