AROMA Uganda Trip
Messiah athletes from various sports teams will be visiting Uganda May 16-28th in partnership with Sports Outreach Institute (www.sportsoutreach.net), a leader in global sports ministry. SOI uses a 5-prong holistic approach to ministry, meeting people’s physical need and spiritual needs through feeding programs, health initiatives, education, job training, and sports ministry. At the core of every ministry project is the goal of evangelism and discipleship. AROMA has partnered with SOI for over a decade and is excited to be a part of their ongoing ministry. The team will be working alongside the SOI ministry team to serve their different outreaches and churches in Kampala and Gulu. This will include visiting their slum sports ministries, school visits, water filter demonstrations, and a large village sports outreach event. Our hope is to be an encouragement, to learn, and to experience God’s glory in a different part of the world.
