AROMA Thailand Trip
The Messiah swim team is excited to take their first team trip to Chiang-Mai, Thailand May 13-26, 2027. They will be partnering with a new partner, Paladin Rescue Alliance, in their Breath-of-Life Program. Paladin Rescue Alliance is an anti-human trafficking dedicated to combating human trafficking in Southeast Asia. Paladin works across three pillars of Prevention, Rescue, and Aftercare to build freedom, hope, and a future for victims of human trafficking. Paladin has taken numerous college swim teams to help serve this mission.
This trip will allow the Messiah swim team the opportunity to use their swimming abilities to serve the youth of Thailand. Much of the work the team will be doing involves providing life-saving swim lessons to children, in partnership with local schools. They will also be helping to deliver a curriculum that includes English language training and a human trafficking prevention program.
