AROMA England Mixed Team Trip
Athletes from several different teams will be going on an AROMA international trip to England August 4th-13th. They will be working in partnership with Sports Friends (www.sports-friends.org), a leader in global sports ministry. Sports Friends’ vision is to see a global movement of local church-centered sports ministries transforming lives and strengthening communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The team will be working alongside staff to put on a sports camp to help coaches deepen relationships with kids they are ministering to in their community on a year-round basis. Many of these kids and families are refugees from around the world. AROMA has been partnering with Sports Friends for many years, but this will be their first trip to work with them in England. Thea team hopes to be an encouragement, to learn and be stretched, and to experience God’s glory in a different part of the world.
